• Incorporating the best of both worlds, the Yukon combines the pure power of a focusable, high-output Xenon bulb for the darkest of nights with three Ultrabright LEDs for those low-light, long-burn situations.
• The LEDs are configured in a triangle pattern to keep the beam of light even and smooth. You can aim the light where you need it by rotating the hinged lamp housing.
• The compact battery pack is mounted onto sturdy elastic webbing that offers ample adjustment for a perfect fit.
• Xenon incandescent bulbs. Xenon bulbs use a special type of halogen gas. Xenon bulbs come closest to replicating the color temperature of daytime light. They also generate about twice the brightness and consume about half the power of traditional halogen bulbs.
• Ultrabright LEDs. The highest quality LED available from Nichia, the Ultrabright LED is bright and efficient. The smooth, white, wide-beam light emitted by Ultrabright LEDs is ideal for close- to mid-range tasks. Ultrabright LEDs are usually grouped together to offer a more powerful light source. Advances currently underway will continue to improve the efficiency and brightness of Ultrabright LEDs.
• This beam pattern combines focused narrow beams and focused wide beams to allow for the most versatility. At close range, the focused wide beams simulate normal daylight conditions so you to take advantage of your peripheral vision. The focused narrow beams create a long-throw spotlight ideal for night hiking and search and rescue.
